Description
Artist:
Originally from London, Duncan Raban spent 25 years flying all over the world photographing superstars. Duncan has personally captured extraordinary images of Freddy Mercury, The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner and Naomi Campbell to name just a few.
From this incredibly glamorous industry, Raban took his craft in a new direction when he visited Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital and spent time on the intensive care unit. His experience was life changing and in Duncan’s words -
"Started him on a journey of kindness”
Duncan set out on a mission which he titled “Just Say Hello”, in which every day he says hello to a stranger. This is reflected in his most recent photography, in which he celebrates people. It is clear to see from his images, that no matter who is in the photographs, Duncan has a unique talent for liberating people and capturing his subject at their most natural, most unguarded selves. Duncan Raban, a photographer like no other.
